Get involved this holiday season and share a little love! Starting Monday, November 13, Busch's will be hosting our annual food drive. This will run through November 22 and take place at all 17 store locations.
By sharing this season, local food banks such as Livingston Gleaners, Food Gatherers, and Forgotten Harvest can assist with families that are truly in need. Often, this time of year families go without the necessities. This includes food items that are overlooked like bread, eggs, milk, and produce.
With your help, you can help families gain access to food, while making a difference within the community. Furthermore, support from local food banks teach families to maintain a balance between a healthy lifestyle and income.
“We truly care about our community and want to help make the holiday season better for those less fortunate,” said Doug Busch, Community Development Director. “A little bit goes a long way.”
Over the last 21 years, Busch’s has been hosting the Season of Sharing food drive in hopes to feed families across Michigan. Guests will have five options to donate, which include pre-made “ready-to-go” food donation bags filled with 16 items, bottle slips, a $5 produce or $10 bakery donation, or any cash amount donation. Busch’s will also have a hot dog cart staffed at various times throughout the campaign and all proceeds will benefit the local food banks.
So join us this holiday season and make a difference in someone's life.
